WELCOME TO DOWNING'S BAR

Downing's Bar opened on Nailsea High Street in December 2024.  The vision behind the bar was to create a warm, friendly and luxurious environment where customers would be looked after with personal table service.

The bar is furnished with luxurious leather seating and beautiful handcrafted tables made from sustainably sourced timber from the Tyntesfield estate.

We offer an extensive selection of exceptional wines from around the world.   There are 52 fantastic bottles of wine to choose from of which 33 are available by the glass including our house champagne.    We are confident there is something for every palate and price point.   

Our delicious cocktails are freshly made and will not fail to impress.

We offer a wide selection of Somerset ciders and a great selection of local draft craft unfiltered lagers and beers from Wiper and True and Arbor, and a fantastic crisp fresh pressed draft cider from Ganley and Naish
